Facing our Future: Tourism and Recreation
We welcome you to join us in a panel discussion to learn more about tourism and recreation as it relates to water in the Waiau area.
Panelists are Madeleine Peacock from Destination Fiordland, Grant Tremain from the Department of Conservation, and Fiona Black from Real Journeys. The panel presentations will be followed by a time for questions.
Freshwater affects all areas of the community, and these public sessions continue to provide an opportunity for stakeholders and community members to share perspectives which are important to them.
This public session forms part of the third workshop for the forum members. Each workshop includes a public session which aims to further the conversation and knowledge of the forum members, while providing members of the public with an opportunity to hear the same information and discuss issues with members in an informal setting. All workshops, including public sessions, are facilitated by Barbara Nicholas.
