Long-term Plan 2021-2031
The Long-term Plan details the actions we propose to take over the 10-year life of the plan to manage the region's natural resources sustainably for the benefit of all Southlanders.
Long-term Plan 2021-2031
Environment Southland's Long-term Plan 2021-2031 was adopted on 30 July 2021. It sets out our work programmes and budget, with an emphasis on the next three years.
Making a plan for the next 10 years in a time of global uncertainty was no easy task, but as a council we've taken a really good look at everything we do and made a strong plan to ensure we are in the best place possible to meet our obligations to the Southland community – for now and our future.
