Public notice is hereby given pursuant to S.95A of the Resource Management Act 1991 that the following application for resource consent has been received by Environment Southland.
The application [reference APP-20232992] is for the following resource consents to authorise proposed activities at Bluff Harbour/Awarua:
The moorings will be block and chain type moorings, with 6 tonne anchor blocks. They will each be able to moor a vessel up to 200 gross tonnes and up to 40 metres in length. The swing area around each mooring is 62 metres.
Purpose: Mooring of two vessels up to 40 metres in length.
Location: 460-600 metres north of the Island Harbour in Bluff Harbour, Awarua. The mooring blocks will be placed at about NZTM2000 1,242,214E 4,830,568N and 1,242,270E 4,830,440N
