Statement from Environment Southland deputy chairman Lloyd McCallum

I was made aware last Friday 5th June that a complaint had been made about some cows near a river on my property. This is being investigated by Environment Southland. I have decided to stand aside from my role on the Council Regulatory Committee until this investigation is completed.

I will be making no further comment on the matter while the investigation is underway.
