Rates payment dates
All rates payments are due by the end of November each year.
A 10% late payment penalty will be imposed on:
- any current rates balance due but not paid by the due date;
- all rates in arrears as at 1 July each year remaining unpaid and on the following 1 January (this penalty excludes current year's rates);
- all rates in arrears as at 1 July the following year.
Penalties pay for the cost of collecting rates in arrears. If you cannot pay the full amount, a part payment will reduce the penalty.
