Judge’s minute about Environmental Defence Society's court proceedings concerning ouvea premix removal at Mataura

(9 October 2020)

[1] I have today (9 October) conducted a follow-up settlement conference to the one I conducted in Invercargill on 9 September and another electronically on 28 September.

[2] Excellent progress has been made in planning for removal of the ouvea premix from Mataura to 2 alternative new sites, and I have set the next judicial settlement conference for Friday 16 October to review the anticipated good progress. The parties remain focussed on the urgency of the situation and are acting constructively and with expedition.

I have directed a continuation of the tasks I reviewed today.
