Regional Coastal Plan for Southland
Environment Southland has prepared a Summary of Decisions Requested on the Regional Coastal Plan for Southland: Proposed Plan Change 5 – Section 16 Surface water activities on the internal waters of Fiordland from Yates Point to Puysegur Point (Plan Change).
The Summary of Decisions Requested by submitters may be inspected on Environment Southland’s website or in person at Environment Southland’s office on the corner of Price Street and North Road, Waikiwi, Invercargill or at one of the public libraries in the region.
The submitter address for service list containing copies of the original submissions on the Plan Change can also be inspected on Environment Southland’s website.
The following persons may make a further submission:
- any person representing a relevant aspect of public interest;
- any person that has an interest in the Plan Change greater than the interest that the general public has; and
- Environment Southland itself.
A further submission must be made using Form 6 Resource Management (Forms, Fees, and Procedure) Regulations 2003 and must relate to matters in an original submission on the Plan Change. A submission form is available on Environment Southland’s website.
A further submission can be made by email to consultation@es.govt.nz or in hard copy by posting to: Regional Coastal Plan Change, Environment Southland, Private Bag 90116, Invercargill 9840. You can also deliver your further submission to Environment Southland’s office on the corner of Price Street and North Road, Waikiwi, Invercargill.
The further submissions period commences on 25 October 2022 and closes on 8 November 2022
A submitter must also send a copy of their further submission to the original submitter(s) within five working days of lodging the submission with Council.
