Decision on the Regional Pest Management Plan

Pursuant to section 75 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, the Southland Regional Council (Environment Southland) gives public notice that it has made its decision on the Southland Regional Pest Management Plan 2019-2029 (SRPMP).

Inspection and availability of the decision report and SRPMP

Copies of the decision report and SRPMP are available for public inspection:

• During office hours at the offices of Environment Southland - Cnr North Rd & Price St, Waikiwi, Invercargill 9810;
• All public libraries in Southland; and
• The Environment Southland website: https://www.haveyoursay.es.govt.nz/pest-plan.

Paper copies can be requested at a cost as per the Fees and Charges Policy.

Applications to the Environment Court

Pursuant to section 76(3) of the Biosecurity Act 1993, any persons who made a submission on the Proposal for the SRPMP may make an application to the Environment Court on the matters set out in section 76(2) of the Biosecurity Act 1993.

The application must be made within 15 working days after the date of this public notice, which was first published Friday 14 June 2019.

An application is made under section 291 of the Resource Management Act 1991 and regulations made under the Resource Management Act 1991.
