Proposed Southland Water and Land Plan - updated
PUBLIC NOTICE
Proposed Southland Water and Land Plan – further provisions to become operative on 27 May 2024
(Note that the public notice published in the newspapers on 18 May contained an omission. Pursuant to section 46 of the Legislation Act 2019, that omission has been corrected in the notice republished in the newspaper on 22 May and below.)
At an extraordinary meeting held on 8 May 2024, the Southland Regional Council (Environment Southland) approved by resolution the remaining provisions of the Proposed Southland Water and Land Plan, other than Policy 42, Rules 24, 54 and 78, and Appendix L.5. In accordance with Clause 20 of the First Schedule of the Resource Management Act 1991 public notice is hereby given that those approved parts of the Proposed Southland Water and Land Plan will become operative on 27 May 2024.
Those parts of the Proposed Southland Water and Land Plan which have not been approved or made operative are shown with grey shading and are excluded because those provisions remain subject to appeal.
