Health & Safety Policy
We are committed to achieving zero harm in our workplaces, in the belief that we can take steps to prevent all work-related injuries or illnesses.
Being safe at work
At Environment Southland, health and safety is a top priority. We want all of our staff to return home safe and well every day and we work hard to ensure every staff member has the tools and training to carry out their work in the safest possible manner.
Ongoing education covers everything from driver training to personal wellbeing, and free, confidential employee support is available to all staff.
Health and safety information is designed to meet all of the statutory requirements, as well as be practical and applicable in our day to day work programmes.
Health and safety is everyone's responsibility and we expect all employees to be part of a culture that prioritises the principles and policies we have in place to keep everybody safe.
