Public notice is hereby given pursuant to S.95A of the Resource Management Act 1991 that the following application for resource consent has been received by Environment Southland.
The application [reference APP-20221926] is for the following resource consent to authorise proposed activities at the Fiordland Coastal Marine Area between Yates Point and Tamatea/Dusky Sound:
Coastal Permit to undertake commercial surface water activities in the form of overnight charter fishing trips within the Fiordland Coastal Marine Area between Yates Point and Tamatea/Dusky Sound with:
- one 17 metre vessel;
- one tender vessel;
- a maximum of 7 guests and 1 crew.
- Typical trips will be for 2-4 nights with no more than one trip per week and a maximum up to 126 days per annum.
- Trips are proposed to be undertaken between December and June of each year.
Purpose: Coastal permit for commercial surface water activities.
