Emergency management

Established by the four Southland Councils (Environment Southland, Invercargill City Council, Gore District Council, Southland District Council), Emergency Management Southland is responsible for the delivery of Civil Defence and Emergency Management responses throughout this region. Emergency Management Southland is responsible for the 24/7 operation of the Emergency Coordination Centre which facilitates planning and operational activity during an event.
