Public notice is hereby given pursuant to S.95A Resource Management Act 1991 that the following application for resource consent has been received by Environment Southland.
The application (reference APP-20191140) is for the following resource consents to authorise proposed activities at:
Woldwide Four Limited
- Discharge Permit to discharge dairy shed effluent from up to 1000 cows and winter barn effluent from up to 1050 cows, underpass effluent and silage leachate to land via a low rate pod system with an instantaneous rate of 10 mm per hour, a travelling irrigator with a depth of 8mm per application and a total depth of 25mm annually and slurry tanker at a depth of 2.5mm per application.
- Land Use Consent to use land for a farming activity including an increase in cow numbers by 150 and an increase the effective area of the existing dairy platform by 63ha.
- Water Permit to take and use up to 34,875 cubic metres per year of groundwater from a bore in the Waimatuku Groundwater Zone for stock drinking water and dairy purposes.
- Land Use Consent to use land to use a winter barn for up to 1050 cows.
- Land Use Consent to use land for the use and maintenance of existing agricultural effluent storage and treatment facilities including a concrete pump sump, concrete bunker and clay lined effluent storage pond.

Any person may make a submission on the application, but a person who is a trade competitor of the applicant may do so only if that person is directly affected by an effect of the activity to which the application relates that:
(a) adversely affects the environment; and
(b) does not relate to trade competition or the effects of trade competition.

- details of the application in respect of which you are making the submission;
